On October 10, 2018 our community endured several hours that shook our homes, downed our trees, and became the event by which we measure time.

In the wake of the devastation left behind by Hurricane Michael, people came from all over to offer assistance. The sound of chainsaw armies cutting paths through to our homes, the sight of linemen working frantically to restore power, and the people and organizations that brought assistance to provide food and water were much needed during a time of disaster relief. But now we are at a point where we are in need of recovery so we can return our home to normal.
