Pastor Phil Edwards
Pastor Phil EdwardsLead Pastor
Pastor Phil Edwards is a genuine southerner: born in Mississippi, attended grade school in Alabama, high school in Georgia, and college in Florida. At age 15, his cousin led him to Christ during a dark, confused time in his life. At 17, he answered the call to vocational ministry. His years at Southeastern University earned him a Bachelors Degree in Christian Ministry and a wonderful wife! As an ordained minister with the Assemblies of God, he serves as Lead Pastor of First Assembly since 1984, and as Assistant District Superintendent of the West Florida District of the Assemblies of God since 2005. Besides spending time with their two daughters, and sons-in-law, they especially enjoy their three perfect grand-daughters (for proof, just see our Facebook photos, or ask us!).
